Motorola has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone in the European market known as the Moto E22s which carries an affordable launch price of just 160 Euros ($160).
The new model builds around a 6.5” IPS LCD display offering a HD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also features a modest 8MP front-facing camera housed within a centered hole-punch cutout.
Over on the flipside, there’s a dual-cam setup comprising of a 16 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth unit for portrait shots. The rear panel is also available in two different paintjobs namely Arctic Blue and Eco Black.
Under the hood, the Moto E22s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage in the memory department. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with Android 12 OS right off the box.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries an unspecified charging speed. Other than that, it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
