After launching the Moto G42 smartphone back in July this year, Motorola is now back with a new mid-range model dubbed as the Moto G72. Despite it’s affordable launch price, the new Moto G72 comes with some notable highlights including a capable MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 108MP triple rear cameras as well as 33W fast wired charging.
Motorola Moto G72 Specifications
Right off the bat, the Motorola Moto G72 features a 6.55” pOLED display offering a FHD+ screen resolution topped with an ultra-fast 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, the phone also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout.
Over on the rear side, the phone comes with a triple-cam system lead by an impressive 108 megapixels main camera which will be aided by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera to help with close-up photography.
Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G72 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which was found in many recent smartphones such as the Vivo V25e and Infinix Zero 20. This will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast wired charging. Other than that, the phone also comes along with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
Motorola Moto G72 Pricing
The Motorola Moto G72 is priced at INR18,999 ($233) in the Indian market for it’s sole 6GB+128GB configuration. Those who’re interested will be able to pick the phone from two different colors such as Meteorite Gray and Polar Blue.
