Besides launching the new OnePlus 11 series smartphones in the global market, OnePlus had also unveiled it’s first-ever tablet known as the OnePlus Pad that’s targeted towards the premium segment, just like the Galaxy Tab S series slates.
Specifications
The new OnePlus Pad builds around a large 11.6” display that offers plenty of screen estate for work and play. It’s an IPS LCD display featuring a 2,800 x 2,000 pixels screen resolution along with an ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate which promises a smooth graphics experience.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus Pad features a distinctive-looking circular camera module at the back which houses a single 13 megapixels that handles all the photography needs. Upfront, there’s another 8 megapixels camera which allows users to take selfies and do video calls.
Much like any other high-end tablets, the OnePlus Pad also an external magnetic keyboard that transforms the slate into a portable workstation for those who does a lot of typing. Likewise, it also supports a compatible stylus dubbed as the OnePlus stylo which makes it easier for doodling and note-taking.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Pad is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. Other than that, there’s also a respectable 9,510mAh battery which supports 67W fast wired charging that’s capable of delivering a full charge in around 80 minutes.
Pricing & Availability
For those who’re interested, the OnePlus Pad is available in a single Halo Green colorway. It’ll be available for pre-order this coming April in several regions such as Europe, India, and North America. Sad to say, the official pricing of the OnePlus Pad is yet to be announced at the time of writing.
