As scheduled, OPPO has officially unveiled the new OPPO A2 Pro 5G smartphone in the Chinese market. The phone features a stylish design along with a set of competent hardware despite it’s affordable starting price of just 1,799 Yuan ($248).
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new OPPO A2 Pro 5G features a vibrant 6.7” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution as well as an ultra-fast 120Hz refresh rate which promises a smooth viewing experience. To help with selfie and video call, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout.
Over on the rear side, the A2 Pro 5G flaunts a large circular camera island which is home to a dual-cam system comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera unit and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portraits.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset which will be paired up with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. Other than that, the device is also equipped with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging support.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO A2 Pro 5G is available in three different color options such as Vast Black, Desert Brown and Twilight. It’ll be priced at 1,799 Yuan ($248) and 2,399 Yuan ($330) for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants, respectively.
