OPPO had recently announced quite a number of A series smartphones such as the OPPO A57s. Now, the company has unveiled yet another model dubbed as the A77s which shares an almost identical design as the A77, but with a different chipset and camera system.
The new model comes with a 6.56” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch along it’s upper bezel. Turning the phone over, there’ll be a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels monochrome lens that helps with portrait shots.
Under the hood, the OPPO A77s is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which is also used in the newly announced Huawei Nova 10 SE. This will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the OPPO A77s smartphone is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast-charging. Other than that, it also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO A77s is offered in both Sunset Orange and Starry Black color options, and is priced at 8,999 Baht ($240) for the 8GB+128GB configuration.
