After weeks of anticipations, OPPO has finally unveiled it’s first-ever flip-style foldable smartphone – OPPO Find N2 Flip – in the global market which will take on the likes of other heavyweights in the market such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 and Motorola Razr 2022.
When folded, the OPPO Find N2 Flip features a cover display based on a vibrant 3.23” AMOLED panel which produces a sharp-looking 720 x 382 pixels screen resolution. The cover display is not only capable of telling time and whether forecast, but can also be used as a viewfinder when taking selfie or wefie.
Unfolding the phone will reveal a larger 6.8” AMOLED display with offers plenty of screen estate for work and play. The display itself supports a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Impressively, both the main and cover displays are fitted with an additional layer of Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen against accidental drops and scratches.
Coming to the imaging front, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is equipped with a versatile dual-cam system lead by a 50 megapixels (Sony IMX890) main camera alongside an 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit which doubles up as a macro camera. Once again, the camera is co-developed with with Swedish photography giant Hasselblad and features the company’s in-house 6nm MariSilicon X chip to assist with image processing.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. As usual, the phone will also be shipped with a custom ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. Speaking of this, OPPO also promises 4 years of major updates and 5 years of security updates for the device.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,300mAh battery which brings support for 44W fast wired charging. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Astral Black and Moonlit Purple.
Pricing for the OPPO Find N2 Flip is priced starting from £849 in the UK, and €1,049/ €1,099 in the European markets. As of now, the company has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the Find N2 Flip in the Asian markets, but we are expected to find out more about them in the coming weeks.
