We’d already been hearing about the upcoming OPPO Reno8 T series smartphones for quite some time and now, the company has officially confirmed that the much anticipated smartphone series will be launching on February 8th next month in the Philippines.
Based on what we’d learned so far, the Reno8 T series is expected to include at least two different models such as the Reno8 T 4G and Reno8 T 5G. While both models appear to share largely similar design on the outside, but they can be easily differentiated based on where their selfie camera is situated.
Reason being is because the Reno8 T 4G has a hole-punch camera sitting on the upper-left corner of the screen, while the 5G model adopts a centered punch-hole cutout for it’s selfie camera. Likewise, the 5G model will be coming with a curve display while the 4G model settles with a flat panel instead.
On the rear side however, both devices share the same dual-ring design for their triple-cam setup which according to OPPO, will be lead by a ”100MP Portrait Camera”. Sadly, there’s no words about the other two cameras hence they remain under the wraps at the moment.
So far, not much were known about their hardware specs though it has been confirmed that the devices will be coming with SuperVOOC fast-charging support which basically means the phones will support at least 33W charging speed.
