After launching the POCO C55 smartphone earlier this year, POCO is now back with a new C series smartphone dubbed as the POCO C51 in the Indian market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just INR 8,499 ($104).
The new model comes with a 6.51” IPS LCD display with HD+ screen resolution along with a modest 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch. This will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels rear-facing camera that handles all the photography needs on the device.
Under the hood, the POCO C51 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. Other than that, the phone also features a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.
Like most other entry-level smartphones, the POCO C51 also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Power Black and Royal Blue.
