Besides launching the POCO X4 GT, POCO had also announced an all-rounder smartphone which focuses not only on entertainment, but also productivity and photography. This device is none other than the POCO F4 5G.
Unlike the POCO X4 GT, the POCO F4 5G settles for an AMOLED panel which measures 6.67” diagonally. As usual, this is a top-notch display offering a sharp FHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits.
On the imaging front, the POCO F4 5G retains the same rear camera configuration as the X4 GT, sporting a total of three cameras that include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be rounded out by a 20MP selfie camer upfront.
Under the hood, the POCO F4 5G is driven by the same Snapdragon 870 chipset just like last year’s POCO F3 5G (Review). On top of that, it also features up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage which are based on the latest UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 technologies.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 67W fast-charging that’s capable of achieving a 0 to 100% sprint in around 38 minutes. As usual, the phone will be shipped with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the POCO F4 5G will be offered in a trio of colors such as Night Black, Moonlight Silver, Nebula Green. It can be purchased via Lazada where the phone carries an attractive launch price of S$549 and S$599 respectively for it’s 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
