Realme has officially a new entry-level smartphone known as the Realme C33 that’s specifically tailored towards the budget conscious consumers, bearing an affordable starting price of just INR 8,999 ($112).
The new model builds around a 6.5” LCD display with HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 400 nits brightness (typical) as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over on the back, the phone features a dual-lens setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera which will be accompanied by a 2 megapixels portrait unit. Also, the back of the phone will be available in three different paint jobs such as Sandy Gold, Aqua Blue, and Night Sea.
Under the hood, the Realme C33 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. As usual, it’s storage capacity can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which recharges at 10W charging speed. Other than that, the phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as Realme UI S Edition (based on Android 12).
Pricing for the Realme C33 starts from INR 8,999 ($112) for the 3GB+32GB base model and goes up to INR9,999 ($125) for the top-of-the-line model featuring 4GB+64GB RAM.
