[Update 23/5]: Leaked renderings of the Realme Pad X (via @stufflistings) show off the device in three different colorways. Original story as follows:
After launching the Realme Pad and Realme Pad Mini, Realme has now confirmed that the company will be launching it’s most power tablet till date – Realme Pad X – on May 26th in the Chinese market. Launch date aside, the company has also revealed the official rendering of the slate, showing off the device in a dual-tone, flat frame design.
One major design change which sets the Realme Pad X from last year’s Realme Pad lies in the adoption a new rectangular-shaped camera module which appears to accommodate a single rear-facing camera. Still, the company has decided against having a LED flash to assist the camera in low-lighting environment.
Based on what we’ve learned so far, the Realme Pad X is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset which is a monumental upgrade over the MediaTek Helio G80 platform used in the Realme Pad. Also, the front panel is said to come with an even sharper QHD+ screen resolution which would be coupled with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
