Xiaomi has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Redmi Note 11 SE in the Indian market. Despite sporting a new moniker, this device is essentially a branded model of the Redmi Note 10S which was launched in the Asian market last year. The only difference is that the new model features NFC support which was absent on last year’s model.
As a recap, the new Redmi Note 11 SE comes with a 6.43-inches AMOLED DotDisplay which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and has a 13 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
On the imaging front, the phone comes with a quad-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera alongside an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 SE is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s light on, the phone is fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging support. Other than that, the Redmi Note 10S also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP53 rating, as well as MIUI 12.5 (based on Android 11).
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as Thunder Purple, Cosmic White, Shadow Black, and Bifrost Blue. The official pricing of the phone will be announced on August 26th prior to it’s debut sale on August 31st.
