Samsung has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone – Galaxy M14 5G – in the global market. The new model comes with several notable upgrades over last year’s Galaxy M13 5G including a new chipset as well as an upgraded camera system.
Starting with the front side of the phone, the new Galaxy M14 5G features a 6.6” Infinity-V display boasting a FHD+ screen resolution along with 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also has a 13 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the Galaxy M14 5G sports a triple-cam system lead by a 50 megapixels main camera. This will be aided by a pair of 2 megapixels macro and depth sensing unit for close-up and portraits.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1330 mobile platform which will be paired with 4GB RAM and a option between 64GB or 128GB onboard storage that supports further expansion via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a large 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 15W fast wired charging. Other than that, it also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Light Blue, Navy Blue and Silver. Pricing for the Galaxy M14 5G starts from UAH 8,299 ($222) for the 4GB+64GB trim and goes up to UAH 8,999 ($241) for the top-of-the-line model with 4GB+128GB configuration in the Ukrainian market.
