Samsung has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Galaxy A14 5G in the global market which came as a successor to 2021’s Galaxy A13 5G. This model brings along a slight design change as well as hardware improvement which set the phone apart from it’s predecessor.
For starter, the new Galaxy A14 G features a 6.6” PLS LCD display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 13 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over at the back, the phone sports a triple-camera array comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro unit that handles close-up photography.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A14 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast wired charging support. Other than that, the phone will also be shipped with One UI Core 5 (based on Android 13), side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as Silver, Black, Dark Red, and Green. Sad to say, the official pricing and availability of the Galaxy A14 5G has yet to be announced at the time of writing.
