Samsung has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Galaxy A14 5G in the global market which features some decent improvements over last year’s Galaxy A13 5G.
The new Galaxy A14 5G comes with a 6.6” Infinity-V display sporting a HD+ screen resolution along with a fast 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, the phone also has an upgraded 13 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the Galaxy A14 5G features a trio of cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information. Speaking of the back, it’s available in four different paintjobs such as Black, Green, Red and Silver.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. Likewise, there’s also a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 15W fast-charging.
For those who’re interested, the Galaxy A14 5G is priced at just $199 in the U.S. market which is in fact $50 cheaper than the official launch price for last year’s A13 5G.
