Samsung has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Galaxy M13 5G which will be first available in the Indian market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just INR13,999 ($175).
The new Samsung Galaxy M13 5G builds around a 6.5” LCD display that features a HD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop-notch along it’s upper bezel.
Over at the back, the phone has a dual-cam setup which include a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit to help with portrait shots. Likewise, a LED flash is also present on the right side of the camera array to help with low-light photography.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which supports storage expansion via a microSD card. It’s also backed by a large 5,000mAh battery that brings support for 15W fast-charging.
Other notable features accompanying the device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as One UI based on Android 12 OS. It will be available in a trio of colors such as Midnight Blue, Stardust Brown and Aqua Green.
