Japanese electronics giant has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Rouvo V that’s targeted towards the budget-friendly consumers with an ultra-affordable launch price of just $90.
The Sharp Rouvo V smartphone builds around a 6.5” LCD display sporting a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. For photography, it has an 8 megapixels rear-facing camera which will be accompanied by a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that helps with selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Sharp Rouvo V is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which will be paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that support further expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a modest 3,500mAh battery with 10W wired charging speed. Other than that, the device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
For those who’re interested, the Sharp Rouvo V is available in a single Turquoise colorway, and is priced at $89.99 for the 3GB+32GB trim in the U.S market.
