After launching the Tecno POVA 5G smartphone last month, Chinese electronics giant Tecno has unveiled a new mid-range device dubbed as the POVA 5 Pro which will be succeeding the June-announced POVA 4 series smartphones.
The new Tecno POVA 4 Pro comes with a vibrant 6.66” AMOLED display offering a sharp FHD+ screen resolution and a fast 90Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also has an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Unlike the POVA 3 which features three cameras at the back, the POVA 4 Pro only has a single 50 megapixels rear camera which will be aided by a LED flash when shooting in low-light environment.
Under the hood, the Tecno POVA 4 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a large 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 45W fast wired charging. Other than that, the phone also supports NFC and biometric authentication and will be shipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as HiOS based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Fluorite Blue and Uranolith Gray. For reference, pricing for the phone is set at $267 in the Bangladeshi market.
