Chinese phone maker Tecno has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Tecno Spark Go 2023. As you can probably tell from it’s moniker, this model will be succeeding last year’s Tecno Spark Go, featuring a brand new design along with upgraded hardware.
For starter, the new Tecno Spark Go 2023 builds around a 6.56” IPS LCD display with 20:9 tall aspect ratio, HD+ screen resolution as well as 60Hz refresh rate. To help with selfies and video calls, it also has a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a waterdrop-notch.
Flipping the phone over, we’ll be greeted by a squared-shaped camera island which houses a pair of rear-facing cameras that include a 13 megapixels main camera and a depth sensing unit for portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Tecno Spark Go 2023 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which will be paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that supports further expansion via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging speed. Software-wise, the phone will be shipped with HiOS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Endless Black, Nebula Purple and Uyuni Blue. Pricing & availability of the phone however, remains under the wrap at the moment.
