Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has unveiled a new mid-range model dubbed as the Vivo Y78T in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of just 1,199 Yuan ($164). The Y78T brings along a 6.78” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution and a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
On the imaging front, the Vivo Y78+ features a dual rear camera system lead by a 50 megapixels main camera along with a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y78T is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. To keep it’s light on, the phone is also backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as White, Blue and Black. Pricing for the phone starts from 1,199 Yuan ($164) for the 8GB+128GB trim and goes up to 1,499 Yuan ($205) for the highest-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
