Vivo has officially announced that the company will be launching the new Vivo S15 and S15 Pro devices on May 19th next week. This came just weeks after the company announced the Vivo S15e in the Chinese market last month.
Although Vivo has yet to shed any lights on the official specs sheet of the devices, but recent reports had revealed quite a fair bit about these devices. Firstly, the Vivo S15 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.56” AMOLED display which will reported features a refresh rate of either 90Hz or 120Hz. Other than that, the phone is also said to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset alongside a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.
Moving on to the vanilla Vivo S15, the device is likely to arrive with a 6.62” FHD+ AMOLED display with an unspecified refresh rate. The phone is also expected to feature a triple-cam unit at the back comprising of a 64MP main camera, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP auxiliary cameras. This will be rounded out by a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Vivo S15 will expectedly feature a slightly toned-down Snapdragon 870 chipset along with a battery capacity of at least 4,500mAh. Interestingly, the vanilla model seems to offer a faster charging speed of 80W.
