After all the leaks and rumors, Vivo has officially confirmed that the company will be launching it’s next-generation’s V27 series smartphones on March 1st in the global market, with India being it’s first destination.
The landing page spotted on the company’s website reaffirmed earlier leaks that the V27 series smartphones will be arriving with a rectangular-shaped camera island which appears to be home to a triple-cam system. Speaking of cameras, Vivo also confirmed that the V27 series smartphones will be featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766V main camera unit which was also adopted by many popular mid-range models.
Over on the front side, the Vivo V27 series will be coming with a 3D curved display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Past reports revealed that the front display will be based on a high-end AMOLED panel which is likely to offer an impressive peak brightness.
As far as hardware is concerned, the Vivo V27 Pro 5G is expected to be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset according to details listed on Google Play Console. The V27 5G on the other hand, could be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 7200 chipset based on it’s recent Geekbench listing.
