Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has announced a new budget-centric smartphone in the Indonesian market known as the Vivo Y35 which packs some exciting features including a Snapdragon 680 chipset, 50MP triple rear cameras as well as 44W fast-charging support.
Specifications
The new Vivo Y35 smartphone builds around a 6.58” IPS LCD display offering a FHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, it also features a 16 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, it features a square-shaped camera module which houses a triple-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 44W wired charging solution that’s capable of delivering a full charge in around an hour.
Apart from that, other notable highlights of the phone also include the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 rating for dust and water resistance as well as Hi-Res audio support.
Pricing & Availability
The Vivo Y35 will be available in two different colorways such as Dawn Gold and Agate Black. Sad to say, the company has yet to announce it’s official pricing and availability at the time of writing.
