Vivo has officially announced the new Y36 smartphone in the Indonesian market where the phone is offered in both 4G and 5G versions which share similar specs except for the difference in their underlying processor.
Right off the bat, the Vivo Y36 smartphone builds around a 6.64” LCD display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate as well as a peak brightness that goes up to 650 nits. To help with selfie and video call, the phone also features a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout.
Over at the back, the phone features a dual ring camera design which houses a pair of rear-facing cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels bokeh lens for portraits.
At the helm, the Vivo Y36 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which will be paired up with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 44W fast wired charging. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Aqua glitter and Meteor Black.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Vivo Y36 is priced at just 3,399,000 Rupiah ($227) for the 8GB+256GB trim in the Indonesian market.
