After months of anticipation, Xiaomi has finally unveiled it’s latest flagship offering – Xiaomi 13 Pro – in the global market. The new model comes along several noteworthy highlights that include a state-of-the-art Leica-branded camera system which once again places the phone in the forefront of mobile photography.
The three cameras at the back is lead by the same 50MP Sony IMX989 main camera as the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, featuring a large 1” sensor with f/1.9 aperture which sits behind Leica’s Professional Optical Lens with an 8P lens array that promises better light transmission than any other traditional solutions.
Likewise, those who love taking videos would be glad to know that the main camera also features an advanced Hyper OIS stabilization system which plays an important role in ensuring smooth recording of video footages especially when moving.
Joining the main camera is another pair of 50 megapixels shooters tasked with ultra-wide and faraway shots. Here, the ultra-wide unit also doubles up as a macro camera, while the telephoto camera is able achieve 3x optical zoom and up to 70x digital zoom.
Coming over to the front side of the phone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro builds around a 6.73” LTPO AMOLED display sporting a sharp QHD+ screen resolution along with a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Other than that, the display itself also supports native 10-bit color depth, DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, as well as an impressive peak brightness that goes up to 1,900 nits when viewing HDR contents.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform in addition to the latest LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technologies. As usual, the phone will be offered in several memory configurations that goes up to 12GB RAM and 512GB worth of storage.
Keeping it’s lights on is none other than a respectable 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support that’s capable of delivering a full charge from 0 to 100% in just 19 minutes. Wireless charging is onboard too, but it’s limited to 50W which doubles the charging time to around 38 minutes.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Ceramic Black and Ceramic White. As far as pricing is concerned, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be priced starting from €1,299 for the 12GB+256GB trim in the European markets.
