Following the success of last year’s CIVI 2 smartphone, Xiaomi is now back with the brand new CIVI 3 smartphone in it’s domestic market which not only features a fresh design, but also better hardware including a more capable chipset.
The new Xiaomi CIVI 3 builds around a gorgeous, dual-curve display which measures around 6.55” diagonally. It’s based upon an AMOLED panel that offers a sharp-looking FHD+ screen resolution topped with an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+ support for a truly immersive viewing experience.
Over on the flipside, the CIVI 3 features a redesigned, circular camera housing which is home to a trio of cameras lead by a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels macro unit for close-up photography.
The key selling point of the imaging department however, lies in the front-facing cameras that include a pair of 32 megapixels cameras that are able to handle both selfies and group selfies thanks to the addition of an ultra-wide camera.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi CIVI 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB built-in storage. Likewise, it’ll also be backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 67W fast wired charging.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from four different colorways such as Gray, Green, Gold and Purple. Pricing for the Xiaomi CIVI 3 starts from 2,499 Yuan ($353) for the 12GB+256GB trim and goes up to 2,999 Yuan ($434) for the top-of-the-line model with 16GB+1TB configuration.
