OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10R 5G flagships this year, in addition to the Nord-branded mid-range phones. A recent leak claimed that OnePlus may be preparing to announce the OnePlus 10 Lite smartphone in the coming days. Now, reliable tipster Max Jambor has claimed that the next flagship phone from OnePlus will be called the OnePlus 10T 5G.
The tipster did not share any details about the specs of the OnePlus 10T. When the company launched the OnePlus 10 Pro earlier this year, the rumor mill speculated that it may have launched the vanilla OnePlus 10 a few months later. But now that the OnePlus 10T has been shown to exist, it looks like the company may not be planning to announce the OnePlus 10 phone.
Jambor said that the OnePlus 10T is “the next and only flagship phone” from OnePlus coming this year. Previous leaks have claimed that OnePlus is working on a flagship phone called the OnePlus 10 Ultra for the second half of the year. However, the tipster has claimed that the OnePlus 10 Ultra does not exist.
It is unclear whether the upcoming OnePlus 10T will be equipped with the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. However, the moniker of the device suggests that the OnePlus 10T will be positioned lower than the OnePlus 10 Pro. Hence, there is a possibility that it could be equipped with the Dimensity 9000 SoC. Readers are advised to wait for further reports to learn more about the OnePlus 10T.
As mentioned at the beginning of this post, OnePlus is reportedly planning to launch a device named the OnePlus 10 Lite. It could be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset powered OnePlus Ace Racing Edition, which was announced in May in China.
