In November, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X90 Pro+ as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone in China. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, Moto X40, and iQOO 11 5G are the other phones that debuted in the last few weeks of 2022 in China. The OnePlus 11 5G with the SD8G2 onboard went official in the first week of 2023. Today, the company carried out the first sale of the OP11. OnePlus China President Li Jie took to Weibo to confirm the result of the smartphone’s first-ever sale.
Jie said that the OnePlus 11 5G was sold in just 51 minutes after it became available for purchase on Tmall and JD.com. He said that the OP11 broke the first sales record for all the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered handsets available in the Chinese market. However, he did not mention the exact number of units that were sold in the first sale.

The OnePlus 11 has a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED LTPO 3.0 screen. It will offer a QHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a brightness of up to 1,300 nits, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. The OP11 is powered by Android 13 and ColorOS 13. Its rear camera setup has include an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset is present under the hood of the OnePlus 11. It will be equipped with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
The OP11 comes in green and black colors. It comes in multiple variants, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 3,999 Yuan ($590), 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 4,399 Yuan ($648), and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage for 4,899 Yuan ($727).
