OnePlus will be holding a global event at 7:30 pm (local time) on Feb. 7 in India. Apart from announcing the OnePlus 11 5G, the company will also unveil a couple of other products, such as the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, the Buds Pro 2 TWS earbuds, and its first keyboard. The OnePlus 11R, which is said to be an affordable flagship phone, will also be shown off at the same event, according to a new report.
Some users have come across the OnePlus 11R’s notifications in the Amazon app in India. The image gives a glimpse of the phone’s back and reveals its launch date. However, the company is yet to confirm the launch of the 11R through any of its social media events. As can be seen, the listing has not revealed any information on the specs of the device.
Multiple reports have already spilled the beans on the specifications of the OnePlus 11R 5G. A couple of smartphones featuring the underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen1 have already launched in China. As far as India is concerned, the 11R could be India’s first phone featuring the said chip.
The OnePlus 11R is likely to arrive in two combinations of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Its base variant could be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage, whereas the higher model may arrive with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It may come with 100W charging support for its 5,000mAh battery.
On the front, it may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen integrated with a fingerprint scanner and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The leaked images of the phone have revealed that its screen will have curved edges. The back panel of the phone may house a 50-megapixel (main) + 12-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
