OnePlus is reportedly working on the OnePlus 12 flagship phone. It will replace the OnePlus 11, which debuted in December 2022 in the Chinese market. Today, leaker Yogesh Brar released a tweet to reveal the key specifications of the OnePlus 12. Here is a look at what to expect from the smartphone.
As per the leak, the OnePlus 12 will flaunt a 6.7-inch OLED panel that offers a QHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which may debut in November this year.
A 50-megapixel camera will be the focal point of the OnePlus 12’s rear camera setup, which might include OIS support. It will be paired with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera.
The OP12 will have a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. Thankfully, the device will support 100W charging. Most major flagship phones from China support at least 50W wireless charging. It is advisable to see whether the OP12 will also come with support for charging wirelessly.
Considering that the OP12 will come with the SD8G3, it is likely that the phone will arrive with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5x RAM. It may come preinstalled with the Android 14 OS and offer an OxygenOS 14 experience. The leak has no information on the front camera of the device.
At present, there is no word on the design of the OnePlus 12. However, it appears that the front of the OP12 will feature a punch-hole panel with curved edges. While it is expected to debut in December 2022 in China, its global launch may take place in the first quarter of the coming year.
