In October, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 13 in China, and this year in January, it took off covers from the Ace 5 series. Now, a fresh leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the brand is gearing up to release a compact flagship device. While the name remains unconfirmed, speculation points to it being the OnePlus 13 Mini or OnePlus 13T.
OnePlus 13 Mini details leaked
According to DCS, the upcoming compact OnePlus phone is part of the company’s main numbered series. He speculates that this high-end, yet compact phone may debut as the OnePlus 13 Mini or the OnePlus 13T.
The phone is expected to pack flagship-level features into a smaller form factor, catering to users who prefer compact devices. However, it is likely to be similar to the Find X8 Mini, which is expected to go official in March in China. It is likely to debut alongside the Find X8 Ultra.
DCS revealed that the OnePlus 13 Mini / OnePlus 13T could feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with slim bezels on all sides, offering a 1.5K resolution. For security, the device may come equipped with a short-focus in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
DCS is unsure about the rear camera setup. Nevertheless, he has speculated that it may have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of 3x optical zoom.
Additional details, such as battery capacity and charging speeds, remain unknown for now. The build is said to include a metal frame and glass back, emphasizing premium design.
As far as the Find X8 Mini is concerned, it is expected to feature the Dimensity 9400 chipset, and it may come with a flagship-grade camera setup. DCS has previously claimed its triple camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel Sony IMX9-series primary camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Its display and build quality are likely to be the same as the OnePlus 13 Mini. Some reports have claimed that it may pack a 5,600mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
