OnePlus 13 price tipped, may cost around 500 Yuan ($70) more than OnePlus 12

OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 13 later this month in China. Several reports have claimed that the upcoming phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite will see a price increase. Since the OP13 will feature Qualcomm’s new chip, it is also expected to be pricier than its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. A new post by a Chinese tech blogger hints at the price of the OnePlus 13’s 16GB+512GB variant.

When asked about the price of the 16GB+512GB configuration of the OnePlus 13, the tech blogger responded by stating that the device will be expensive due to its top-of-the-line specifications. This includes a high-end processor and an “ultra-level” display, which means it’s even more expensive to produce OP13 units. So, the 16GB+512GB variant is likely to cost over 5,200 Yuan ($735) in China. To recall, the same configuration of the OnePlus 12 was priced at 4,799 Yuan ($680) at launch.

OnePlus 13 specifications (rumored)

As per reports, the OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.82-inch BOE X2 micro-quad-curved screen that supports a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The same display is likely to be available on the Find X8 Ultra, which is expected to launch early next year. For security, it will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus 13 will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup will comprise a 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Under the hood, the device will have the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. The device will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W magnetic wireless charging support. It will come with other features, such as a 0916 Turbo vibration motor and an IP68/69 rated chassis. It will be available, at least in black-and-white options.
