All the leading smartphone brands in China are expected to unveil new flagship phones by the end of this year. When it comes to OnePlus, the brand is expected to unveil the OnePlus 15 in October in China, followed by the Ace 6 series in November or December. However, a new development suggests that the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 will break cover together.
OnePlus 15, Ace 6 launch timeframe (rumored)
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 will debut together in October in China. He hasn’t mentioned anything about the Ace 6 Pro, which creates doubt about its existence. The leak also suggests that OnePlus could be aiming to launch these smartphones before the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro.
Last year, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 15 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip onboard in October. In December, it unveiled the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively. After a couple of months, it announced yet another Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered phone, the OnePlus 13T, for the home market.
Therefore, not only the OnePlus 15, but also the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro and OnePlus 15T are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. However, there is a possibility that the brand may skip the Ace 6 Pro to avoid launching three phones powered by the same processor.
Recent reports have revealed that OnePlus is also working on the OnePlus 15T, a compact flagship phone. There have been reports that the 15T will arrive with several improvements, which include a 7,000mAh battery, wireless charging support, and an ultra-wide and periscope camera.
