Reports have revealed that Qualcomm may unveil the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip in September this year. Therefore, the OnePlus 15, which is expected to be one of the first phones to feature it, may debut in late September or early October in China. As per a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, the major highlight is that the OnePlus 15 will be the first device from the brand to feature its own custom-developed imaging system.
OnePlus to debut custom imaging brand with its next flagship

DCS revealed that OnePlus will launch a new imaging brand starting with the OnePlus 15. This suggests that the OnePlus 13, which debuted last year, could be the last flagship phone with the OnePlus-Hasselblad collaboration. In today’s leak, DCS also reiterated a few key specifications of the OP15.
He revealed that the OnePlus 15’s camera setup will include a 50-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size and a periscope telephoto lens, designed to offer enhanced zoom and low-light performance. As per a previous leak, all three rear cameras, including the ultra-wide lens, will be of 50 megapixels. The camera layout is also expected to move away from the circular design seen on the OnePlus 13.
The OnePlus 15 will reportedly feature a 6.78-inch flat 1.5K display with extremely slim bezels, made possible by LIPO technology. This allows for a more immersive display experience by compressing the internal layout and reducing border thickness.
The device is also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which is mentioned as SM8850 in the leak. The tipster previously revealed that the device will offer other specs, such as a 7,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, wireless charging, a metal middle frame, and an IP68-rated body.
