OnePlus 16, iQOO 16, and Redmi K100 Pro Max are expected to rival each other when they debut around October this year in China. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed that these devices will arrive with a significant price hike as compared to the previous generation. Here’s a look at what to expect from their pricing.
Next-generation OnePlus, iQOO, Redmi to arrive with increased price

In the above Weibo post, DCS claimed that the next-generation flagship phones from OnePlus, iQOO, and Redmi, built on a 2nm process, will start at around 5,000 Yuan (~$725) for the base 12GB+256GB edition. In all likelihood, the tipster is talking about the OnePlus 16, iQOO 16, and Redmi K100 Pro Max, which are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 6, which will be Qualcomm’s first 2nm chip.
To recall, previous generation models, such as the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Redmi K90 Pro Max were powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. All three phones came with a base configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. To recall, the iQOO 15’s base model was priced at 4,199 Yuan (~$610), whereas the other flagship carried the 3,999 Yuan (~$465) starting price.
The expected price increase could be linked to rising component costs, particularly memory chips. This also suggests that these prices may also carry a hefty price tag when they hit the global market. It should also be noted that these are sub-brand flagship phones. The photography-focused flagship phones, such as the Oppo Find X10 series, Vivo X500 series, and Xiaomi 18 lineup, could be more costly than the above-mentioned phones.
