OnePlus 5T is Now Official in China; Country Receives Exclusive Red Lava Color Variant

On Nov. 16, OnePlus had held a global event to unveil the OnePlus 5T flagship phone. Today, the company had held an exclusive launch event in China for unveiling the OnePlus 5T in home country. To celebrate the fourth anniversary of the company, it has introduced a special commemorative edition of the OnePlus 5T in Red Lava color.

The specifications of the OnePlus 5T for China is not different from the OP5T that was unveiled to the world recently. It features a 6.01-inch Optic AMOLED display that offers 18:9 aspect ratio, 80.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and supports FHD+ resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. It is running on Android 7.1.1 that is customized with OxygenOS.

OnePlus 5T China Launch

It brings the new Face Unlock feature that can scan and unlock the smartphone using the front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The rear side houses a 16-megapixel (f/1.7 aperture) + 20-mgeapixel (f/1.7 aperture) dual rear cameras. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

OnePlus 5T for China comes in three variants. The base model featuring 64 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM is priced at 2,999 Yuan (~$454). The higher variant featuring 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM is priced at 3,499 Yuan (~$530). Both the models will go on sales starting from Dec. 1 at 10 AM. These models are available in Midnight Black color.

The OnePlus 5T Lava Red features 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. It is also priced at 3,499 Yuan (~$530). However, it will be available for buying starting from Dec. 17.

The official site of OnePlus is now receiving registrations for OP5T. It is also available for registrations on other retailer sites like JD.com in China.
