The first quarter of 2018 saw the arrival of a couple of flagship devices which include Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s, OPPO R15, vivo X21, and Huawei P20. Other flagships which are expected this year include vivo APEX, OnePlus 6, Xiaomi Mi 7, and Nubia Z18. One thing is common with these flagships, they are all powered or scheduled to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Of all these expected flagships, it appears that OP6 is ready for mass production and the rumor mill with regards to this smartphone keeps spinning.
Just yesterday, a new leak showing the display of this smartphone sporting an iPhone X-like notch surfaced online. Now, the rumor mill just received another leak of this smartphone, and its the rear design. This is not the first leak of its rear design but it is the newest. From the leaked image, it comes with a brushed metal design and most noticeable is the vertically arranged rear sensors which align in the middle of the phone. The dual rear cameras, the LED flash, and rear fingerprint sensor are all visible. In addition, this image shows that OP6 comes with a USB-Type C port and the 3.5mm audio jack.
As of now, not much has been revealed about this smartphone but speculations have it that its flagship chip will be supported by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with the possibility of other variants. In addition, this 6.28-inch display smartphone will come with a hideable notch which will not be visible while gaming or watching a video. The decision to include a notch on OP6 is risky and might prove expensive for the company because it is squarely against potential users opinion.
