OnePlus fans have always wanted OnePlus phones to feature waterproof chassis. The OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 have some level of waterproofing, but they were never advertised as a water-resistant chassis. The latest teaser from OnePlus hints that the upcoming OP6 will be resistant to rainwater.

The above teaser does not confirm IP68 certification for OnePlus 6. There is a possibility that the Chinese manufacturer may advertise the phone as splash resistant phone.
OnePlus is yet to confirm the launch date of OnePlus 6. It is speculated to debut in China on May and it may get announced in overseas market by the end of this month. Recent reports have revealed that the OnePlus 6 that will be fueled by Snapdragon 845 will be packed with a notch enabled 6.28-inch AMOLED display and 3,450mAh battery equipped with Dash Charge V2.
It is speculated to arrive in three variants such as 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. For photography, it will be arriving with 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear cameras. It will be retaining the 3.5mm audio jack.
