Last week, a report out of India had suggested that the much anticipated OnePlus 8T could be announced on October 14th. Now, OnePlus has officially confirmed that the device will indeed by launched on the aforementioned date.
Although the company has yet to reveal any official specs pertaining to the OnePlus 8T, but we’d already learned pretty much about the device courtesy of the earlier leaks.
The most recent one came from notorious leaker @OnLeaks who released some official-looking renders of the device along with some of its purported specs earlier this week.
From what we’d learned so far, the OnePlus 8T is expected to feature a 6.55-inches FHD+ AMOLED display that comes with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device will arrive with the usual hole-punch design to accommodate its 32 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flip-side, the OnePlus 8T will flaunt a quad camera system arranged in a L-shaped fashion. These cameras include a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 16 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels portrait lens.
At the helm, it will be powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Finally, it also has a 4,500mAh battery with an incredibly fast 65W Warp charging support.
