OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition Seemingly Teased, Launch Likely in March

Earlier this month, OnePlus launched the OnePlus Ace 2 in China. Speculations are rife that the company will launch a couple of more Ace-branded phones in China this year. Through his Weibo account, OnePlus China President Li Jie hinted at the release of a new Ace-series phone today. It looks like the company is getting ready to release the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition.

Li Jie did not reveal anything about the upcoming Ace phone in the teaser. Meanwhile, a OnePlus phone with the model number PHP110 has appeared in the database of the National Compulsory Product Certification in China. It is the same device that was previously seen at the MIIT certification last month. Rumors are rife that the device could be called the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition.

The new certification reveals that the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition may support 80W charging. This contradicts previous claims that the device will offer 100W charging.

Other reports have revealed that the Ace 2 Dimensity Edition will be equipped with a 6.74-inch OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. It will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset, a 5000mAh battery, and 16 GB of RAM.

Being a China-focused device, it is expected to come preloaded with Android 13 OS and ColorOS 13. The device is expected to come with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64M primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M macro snapper. There is a possibility that the device may go official in March in China.
