OnePlus Ace 2 Pro camera samples, primary camera details revealed

OnePlus is going to announce its next flagship phone, the Ace 2 Pro, on Aug. 16 in China. The brand has released a couple of teasers to confirm the key specifications of the phone. The brand has released new Weibo posts to share the camera samples and primary camera details of the smartphone.

OnePlus revealed that the Ace 2 Pro will have an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel primary snapper, which will be backed by the IMX890 camera sensor. Since the manufacturer is keeping quiet about the other cameras on the device, it appears that an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera may be present in addition to the main snapper. For selfies, the Ace 2 Pro could be equipped with a 16-megapixel camera on the front. Shown below are the images captured using the Ace 2 Pro.

The camera setup of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is driven by OPPO’s sophisticated image algorithm and image engine, ensuring potent photography capabilities. Additionally, it supports OPPO’s ProXDR photon matrix technology, a feature that elevates the distinction between light and shadow in images, ultimately delivering more authentic and lifelike visuals.

The official teasers for the Ace 2 Pro revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED screen with curved edges. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.

The Ace 2 Pro will arrive with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is expected to run ColorOS 13.1-based Android 13. It will come in gray and cyan shades.
