OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R on Jan. 23 in the global market. While the OP12 is already available in India, the Ace 3 launching tomorrow in China is said to be a rebranded version of the 12R. Today, the brand released a few teasers to confirm the battery size and charging capabilities of the Ace 3.
According to the brand, the OnePlus Ace 3 will house a 5,500mAh battery. In fact, it will be the largest-ever battery seen on a phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. In addition, the brand has also confirmed that the Ace 3 will support 100W fast charging.
The brand has confirmed that it will come with support for the UFCS charging protocol. In addition, the brand also confirmed that the in-box 100W charger will allow the phone to go from 0 percent to 100 percent in just 27 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no support for wireless charging on the device.
According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 3 will have a 6.78-inch OLED panel with curved edges and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device is expected to ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
On the front, the Ace 3 will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the device will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens will complement it. It will be available in three shades, such as black, blue, and gold.
