OnePlus Ace 5 Pro camera details, launch timeframe tipped

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 13 by the end of this month. Since a new rumor claims that the Xiaomi 15 series will be announced on Oct. 31, the OP13 may go official as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. The brand is currently silent on the device’s launch date. Meanwhile, rumors suggest that the brand is developing the OnePlus Ace 5 series of sub-flagship phones, which could make their debut in China in November or December. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has released a Weibo post to share some information about what appears to be the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro smartphone.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro camera specs (rumored)

According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Elite (8 Gen 4) chipsets, respectively. In today’s leak, the leaker is talking about the upcoming sub-flagship phone featuring the SM8750 (Snapdragon 8 Elite). Hence, it appears that he is referring to the Ace 5 Pro.

The leak reveals that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro’s rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel IMX906 primary camera and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto camera. It may adopt imaging algorithms from the Oppo Find X8. A previous leak claimed that the Ace 5 will also have the same primary camera.

The device will feature a BOE X2 flat display with a resolution of 1.5K. It will come with a massive 6,000mAh+ silicon battery.

Previous leaks claimed that the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will debut together before the end of this year. However, the leaker now claims that they will release the Ace 5 first, likely before the end of this year, and the Pro version half a year later, potentially indicating a mid-2025 debut.
