OnePlus is expected to be among the first brands to launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered phone. The OnePlus 13 may debut in China in October or November of this year, powered by the new chip. After the OP13, the brand may unveil performance-driven, affordable Ace-branded flagships. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the company will skip the “Ace 4” moniker and call the next-generation handsets the OnePlus Ace 5 and the Ace 5 Pro. Today, the same tipster rolled out a new Weibo post to reveal the key specifications of the Ace 5.
OnePlus Ace 5 specifications (rumored)
According to the leak, the OnePlus Ace 5 will have a 6.78-inch OLED 8T LTPO screen. The display, which will have a micro-curvature design, will support a 1.5K resolution.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 5 will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard. It will house a massive 6,200mAh dual-cell battery. The device’s RAM and storage capacities are unknown. However, it will have support for 100W charging.
For photography, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera featuring a large sensor. It will also have an alert slider.
There is no information available about the specifications of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. In all likelihood, it may feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
Compared to the OnePlus 13, the Ace 5 Pro will be an affordable model with less focus on photography. Given its performance-driven nature, similar to the Ace 5, we anticipate a larger battery.
