OnePlus has started teasing the arrival of the OnePlus Ace 6T in China. This will be the second Ace 6-series phone from the brand after the OnePlus Ace 6, which debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip last month. What’s interesting about the Ace 6T is that it will be the world’s first phone to arrive with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. In a recent Weibo post, OnePlus President Li Jie shared the battery size and fast charging capabilities of the device.
OnePlus Ace 6 battery size, charging details
According to the OnePlus President, the OnePlus Ace 6T will pack a battery with over 8,000mAh capacity. While he did not specify the exact battery size, he confirmed that the device will support 100W fast charging.
Rumors surrounding the device have revealed that it will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to ship with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
On the front, the OnePlus Ace 6T will have a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Its back panel will feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The OnePlus Ace 6T will run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16. It will have other features such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an IP68/69-rated body.
As far as the launch is concerned, the Ace 6T is expected to debut by the end of this month. Likely, a tweaked version of this device may be released as the OnePlus 15R in other markets.
