Recent reports have been talking about a new OnePlus phone called the OnePlus Ace for the Chinese market. Today, the company rolled out a Weibo post to confirm that the OnePlus Ace will be made official at 7 PM on April 21 in China.
The official poster released by OnePlus gives a look at the camera design of the OnePlus Ace. As can be seen, it is equipped with a triple camera unit at the upper-left corner. The poster also confirms that the device is equipped with flat edges. However, it does not feature an alert slider. The OnePlus Ace will be arriving in at least two colors: black and blue.
OnePlus is yet to confirm the specifications of the OnePlus Ace smartphone. Reports surrounding the OnePlus Ace suggest that it will be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo3. The official poster released by the brand suggests that it may pack the same specs that are available on the GT Neo3, but will arrive with a different rear design.
Rumors are rife that the OnePlus phone with model number PGKM10, which has been recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and the 3C certification site in China, will debut with the OnePlus Ace name in the home market. These listings have revealed that the device is equipped with the Dimensity 8100 chipset, 12 GB of RAM, Android 12 OS, and 160W of fast charging support. However, its charging could be limited to 150W.
The OnePlus Ace is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 4,500mAh battery, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, it may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and 50-megapixel triple rear cameras.
