OnePlus has officially announced a new smartphone known as the OnePlus Nord LE which can’t be bought by money. Reason being? The LE in the OnePlus Nord LE actually stands for “Literally Only One Edition”, which basically means there’s only one of this device in the world. To get this highly coveted device, users will need to take part in OnePlus upcoming giveaway event to win it.
In terms of specs and design, this device is largely similar with the current OnePlus Nord smartphone except for the difference in its external paintjob and finishing. As such, the device will sport the same 6.44-inches FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, the OnePlus Nord will feature a quad-cameras system at the rear which is headlined by a 48 megapixels main camera with OIS stabilization. It will be assisted by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens for group photos, 5 megapixel depth sensor for portraits, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.
Over at the front, we can also expect a dual-camera setup which is housed within a pill=shaped cutout located on the top-left corner of the display. This will include a 32 megapixels primary shooter as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord is driven by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 765G SoC which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. As with any other OnePlus devices, the OnePlus Nord will not be coming with a microSD slot and 3.5mm headphone jack.
To keep its lights on, the device draws power from a 4,115mAh battery which carries support for the company’s proprietary Wrap Charge 30T fast-charging technology that could bring the device from 0 to 70% within 30 minutes.
