In February, OnePlus confirmed that it would launch its first-ever foldable phone in the second half of this year. Later, it was revealed that it would arrive in the third quarter. Now, a new leak reveals that it will be announced in August.
OnePlus is yet to confirm the name of its first foldable phone. Hence, it is tentatively called the OnePlus Fold by the rumor mill. As per the new report, the brand will hold a launch event in the first half of August to announce the OnePlus Fold. The report revealed that the event would take place in New York.
The report also states that the OnePlus Fold will release in multiple markets, including India. However, it did not reveal any new information on the specs of the device. Rumors are rife that it will be a rebadged version of the OPPO Find N3, which is expected to launch in the same month in China. It appears that the Find N3 may remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

According to reports, the OPPO Find N3 will arrive with an 8-inch inner foldable screen with support for Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer 6.5-inch AMOLED screen is expected to support an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The front display and the inner display will each have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear camera setup will have an OIS-ready 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel periscope zoom camera. The device will come preloaded with ColorOS 13.1-based Android 13.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power the Find N3. The device is expected to arrive with 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may arrive with a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging support.
