Since the past few months, the rumor mill has been speculating on the arrival of an affordable OnePlus phone. The phone has been dubbed by various names such as OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus Z, and OnePlus Nord. Yesterday, OnePlus confirmed for the first time that it will be soon launching an affordable smartphone series in Europe and India soon. The Chinese firm is yet to officially confirm the name of its upcoming smartphone. Carli Pei who is one of the co-founders of the company yesterday released a tweet to reveal its new Instagram page called ‘OnePlusLiteZThings.’ It seems to be a hint that the much-anticipated budget-friendly OnePlus could be debuting as OnePlus Lite Z.
Since OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will be launching a new affordable phone soon, the company is likely to start teasing on its features in the coming days. A previous leak had claimed that the smartphone may debut in India on July 10. At present, the Instagram page for OnePlus Lite Z has four posts but none of them are visible as the account is kept private.

Recently, the key specifications of the alleged OnePlus Lite Z phone were spotted on a survey site in India. The listing revealed that the smartphone is equipped with a punch-hole display that offers up to 90Hz refresh rate and it has an in-screen fingerprint reader. For selfies, it has a front camera of 16-megapixel.
The Snapdragon 765G is expected to fuel the device with 6 GB of RAM. The handset will offer users with 128 GB of built-in storage. The Android 10 OS overlaid with the latest edition of OxygenOS.
The OnePlus Lite Z may house a 4,300mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The rear side of the phone may feature a 64-megapixel triple camera system.
