OnePlus announced the OnePlus Nord CE 5G smartphone in June this year. It was positioned lower than the original OnePlus Nord. Fresh information reveals that the Chinese manufacturer is working on the OnePlus Nord 2 CE handset, which is codenamed as Ivan. A new tweet by tipster Yogesh Brarhas leaked the entire specs of the phone.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE specifications (Rumored)
According to the tipster, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will be sporting a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. There is no word on the design of the phone. However, it is likely to sport a punch-hole display like the predecessor model. The screen of the Nord 2 CE will come integrated with a fingerprint scanner.
The Dimensity 900 chip is expected to fuel the Nord 2 CE. It will come with 6 GB to 12 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it will be arriving in variants like 128 GB and 256 GB. It will come preinstalled with OxygenOS 12, but it is unclear whether it will ship with the Android 12 or the older Android 11.
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE will feature a 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. Its back panel will be fitted with a triple camera unit that will comprise of a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that carries support for 65W fast charging. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the Nord 2 CE.
It was revealed in the previous week that the Ivan model was spotted at the BIS certification platform of India last week. Hence, it appears that the Nord 2 CE may debut in India in the next few weeks.
